Is there any Delay Repay scheme in Trainline?

Yes, there is a delay repay scheme in trainline. Depending on the train company you chose while booking your ticket, passengers are entitled to compensation if there is a 15–30-minute delay to your journey. This delay is usually determined in relation to either the regular schedule or a modified schedule that is published early, such as during scheduled weekend engineering work. Passengers are entitled to file a claim for up to 28 days after the trip, regardless of the cause of the delay.

Eligibility and Process for Trainline Ticket Refunds

As Trainline booking offers different types of tickets, it’s only normal there are different refund policies for these tickets.

Advance Single Tickets: These tickets can only be changed and not refunded.

Flexible tickets (Off-Peak, Super Off-Peak and Anytime tickets): These tickets can be refunded online for a set fee.

SplitSave: These combinations of tickets follow its single counterparts. Refunds are available for the flexible tickets. Only changes can be made to the Advance Single tickets. The exception, however, happens if you book a combination of both tickets, then all can only be changed.
